What is Spiritual Direction?
A spiritual director is one who helps another to recognize and to follow the inspirations of grace
in his life, in order to arrive at the end to which God is leading him.

Guiding the Spiritual Journey Toward Wholeness
As a spiritual director, I have been trained to accompany others on their spiritual journey of becoming their true self, the self that God created them to be. My purpose is to offer a safe and open space for individuals to explore their inner life and their walk with God. Although the official position title is director, the Holy Spirit is the true director initiating and leading the dialogue (John 15, 16). My role is to serve as a witness to the movements of God in the directee’s life as well as the directee’s responses. This space is a sacred space that includes silence, listening, slowness, and contemplation. It is not about fixing or offering solutions; it is about spiritual guidance and soul care.

Because of the intimate nature of this communion, with vulnerability being a key component, the sessions are confidential. This sacred space is judgment and agenda-free, with the understanding that life is complex as well as mysterious. Everyone has a story. My intention is to approach and receive the directee’s story with curiosity, observing the interactions between the directee and God, the directee and others, and the directee and self. My role is to offer guidance in the directee’s responses to God’s presence and invitations.
